Shaka Key Ring
Shaka Key Ring
The shaka sign has a few origin stories, but our favourite is attributed to Hamana Kalili, a Hawaiian man who worked at a sugar mill in Laie, Oahu, in the early 20th century
According to local legend, Kalili lost his three middle fingers in an accident at the mill, and he used the gesture as a friendly wave.
Regardless of its exact origin, the shaka sign has become a symbol of the aloha spirit and, adopted by us, as nod to surf culture and our mission to rid our waves of plastic waste.

♻️ What's it made from?
Our products are made from ocean plastics, and plastics that would have otherwise ended up in landfill. This is collected from beach cleans, litter picks, and drop-off points with the help of our community and local businesses.
Once the plastic is collected, it is cleaned, sorted, and processed in our workshop in Cornwall. From here we use it to produce new products and give what was rubbish a new life.
